One of the authors I’ll read everything from is Jess Lourey, she has a new novella coming out called ‘Twice in a blue moon’ and can be requested through netgalley to ARC read.

This book is about three sisters; Helena and Xenia who are twins and their older sister Ursula, who live in a small town and have always been aware that they possess some kind of magic. Helena can make the most unique tasting pieces of candy and some of them actually do something, like the one eating it will feel giddy, tell truths or spill secrets.

A woman scorned can be your biggest enemy and let there be one that hates with a vengeance when it comes to the sisters. Helena is carrying one big secret; one she hopes will sort itself out on the equinox. Will it though? You’ll have to read it for yourself.


So, it was a nice novella BUT it wasn’t one that piqued my interest.

That’s why I only give this a ⭐⭐⭐ star rating.
