Hey hello hi and welcome;
My name is Cindy and I'm a stay at home mom with two kids. My favorite thing to do when I have the time is read, just pick up a book and let myself sink away in a story that called to me. My imagination is my best friend whilst reading, some books are just so detailed that I can actually 'see' what i'm reading and i absolutely love that. My favorite genres are; Psychological Thrillers, Thrillers. Crime, Fantasy and a tiny bit of romance mixed with humor. I've been an active Netgalley reviewer since December 2024 and have been enjoying this privilige. I've started reviewing in general when I started my Netgalley journey and I have to say I really like it. When authors comment on the review I've posted is a big plus. It's what I get most excited about after having posted a review. What does the author think of my review, my honest opinion of their book?
What I do
I will be explaining some more below and will do so in English and Dutch.
Netgalley
When I see a book on Netgalley that I really would like to read, I request it. Once chosen I'll be reading the book within two weeks and posting a rewiew about what I've read. Since Netgalley books are all English and it isn't sure yet if they'll be published in Dutch, I won't be reviewing them in Dutch, not until I know that some Dutch publisher has picked it up.

Als ik word goedgekeurd voor een boek op Netgalley lees ik deze vaak binnen twee weken en post ik daar een eerlijke review van. Omdat de boeken op netgalley allemaal Engels zijn en we nog niet weten of ze uitkomen in het Nederlands zal ik ze niet vertalen.
TBR-Pile review
Okay, so.. I am a bit of a hoarder when it comes to books, I see way to many books I like and will buy them.. which means my TBR right now is over 200 physical books. Yikes!

Oké.. Ik ben een beetje een horder wat boeken betreft.. Ik zie veel te veel goede boeken en als ik ze zie, koop ik ze vaak ook. Resultaat? Boven de 200 fysieke boeken.
For Publishers
Since being an ARC reader for Netgalley, It's been a dream to be connected with Publishers and authors, to be considered as one of the ARC readers. Right now I'm only a Digital ARC reader but I would love to be a physical one. Book mail is the actual best!

Sinds ik een ARC lezer ben voor Netgalley is het eigenlijk wel een droom om ook gezien te worden door uitgevers en schrijvers en hoop ik overwogen te worden in hun ARC team. Ik lees nu alleen digitale ARCS maar zou fysieke boeken onmogelijk tof vinden.
Ik lees altijd in het Engels, maar overweeg ook Nederlandse boeken te lezen.
In the spotlight
"In the Spotlight" will be a new segment I'd like to pick up. Each month an Author will be chosen to be "In the Spotlight" I will be talking about their latest book and with a bit of luck and a bucket of hope I would like the Author to participate in a small written interview.

"In de Spotlight" word een nieuw segment dat ik graag waar zou maken. Elke maand word er een Schrijver gekozen om in de "Spotlight" te zetten. Ik zal over hun laatste boek praten en met een beetje geluk en een emmer vol hoop zou ik het tof vinden als de schrijver mee zou willen helpen door middel van een geschreven interview.
