Spectacular – Stephanie Garber

This novella was beautifully illustrated and the story was okay-ish. It wasn’t a story that needed to be published persé because it kind of lacked the Caraval Magic. Tella is a princess and doesn’t like this new protective lifestyle and with the holiday festivities tomorrow and her not having a present for Legend she wanders to a unique store but instead of finding a present; she gets drugged and taken.
