#spinderella picked two books for me to take with me on holiday. The first one I’ve read was “Room for Rent” by Noelle W. Ihli which is the second book I’ve read by her.

I know all of Noelle’s books have mixed reviews, you either love her or hate her and I have to say; I love her. The books are unique and thrilling.

Nya is moving back to Boise to attend her last semester at Uni. She has moved back to her parents’ house for the summer who are very religious. To not have to pay rent and move back there was one condition Nya had to comply to which was attend their church 4 times a week.

Finding a room in Boise for a decent price was an absolute nightmare, Nya even thought that maybe she wasn’t be able to attend this semester but eventually she found a room for a good price with someone names Sidney, little did she know Sidney was actually a guy and the place was an absolute mess but beggars can’t be choosers as they say.

With way to little money to live even remotely comfortable and books to buy that are way over her budget she takes the step; suck it up, buttercup. The house smells and is an absolute pigsty but that she’ll have to tackle another day.

But something in this house isn’t right, she keeps waking up at night hearing footsteps somewhere in her room. One time she was sure someone was outside her bathroom door when she took a bath, with only Sid as the other occupant of the house, she thinks it’s him.

Sid doesn’t have the most admirable reputation, leaving the previous tenant outside to die after giving him a hard kick in the stomach. Spleen ruptured. Nya gets a bit scared but has nowhere else to go.

After half term everything just seems to unfold, Nya has to fight for her live. Will she survive?

I’m giving this ⭐⭐⭐⭐stars!
