Up next was this Romcom novel called “till summer do us part” by Meghan Quinn. I have to say that I have picked up this genre recently and am enjoying it.
When summer do us part is a good book when you want to read something funny yet endearing.

Scottie works as an editor for the Butter Putter, a job she doesn’t overly enjoy and with only male colleagues it gets bland, everyone in the office is married and here she is, recently divorced and quite insecure because of all that happened in that marriage.
Her only female colleague is her boss. When in a meeting and one of her colleagues making a snide comment about her not wearing a wedding ring, Scottie tells a lie. She is married, they’re just going through a hard time… That’s when her boss Ellison takes her apart and tells her to meet her husband for marriage therapy, creating a new problem. She doesn’t even have a boyfriend. How is she supposed to look married for an appointment the next morning?
Fast forward to Marriage camp where she and Wilder (who has been a complete stranger until a few days ago) meet up, 8 days of being holed up with a stranger, pretending to be married. Pretending to have a troubled marriage at that. This is going to be interesting.
First of all, the cabin is something… Filled to the brim with 18+ toys (if you know what I mean) and with Scottie being kind of a prude, she doesn’t like staying there one bit. Wilder doesn’t seem to care one bit, he is respecting towards Scottie and clears all of it out, so it isn’t out in the open anymore.
Marriage camp is filled with assignments, things you can win, counseling sessions and time to reflect. No phones, no distractions. Scottie and wilder are taking fake fighting to another level, but once in the cabin they talk about it and air it out. They even get feelings for each other but they both have baggage and they both are scared to commit.
Will they part after summer like they planned? Or will this retreat be the start of a loving relationship?
This book was funny, maybe the guy was a bit to good to be true. Haven’t met a guy like that in my life.
I’m giving this book ⭐⭐⭐.5 stars!
