ARC Review

Hidden Daughters – Patricia Gibney

It’s the fifteenth book in the Lottie Parker series with a whole lot of murder and drama. With Lottie and Boyd being on leave to attend a wedding in Connemara; Kirby has taken the lead in the new investigation in Ragmullin. With murders happening in Connemara Lottie weasels her way into the investigation.

The Silent Woman – Minka Kent

This book was such a fast read, once you get invested in the story you just can’t seem to put the book down. Jade is a well know biographer and has been hired by Viviette Westmore’s grandson, but within weeks they start dating and get married pretty fast. The secrets Jade uncovers have your mind in pieces. How can someone be this dangerous?

The Crimson Throne – Sara Raasch & Beth Revis

A book filled with magic; Alyth a leth that has been tasked with protecting Scotland and the wall that’s keeping Red Caps out of Scotland and the Seelie court. Alyth is a lady-in-waiting for the Scottish Queen to ensure her safety but that doesn’t stop the Queen’s husband from trying to assassinate his wife.

How bad things can get – Darcy Coates

This story was deeply disturbing but I loved it; Darcy Coates really is one of the best thriller / horror writers out there and I was able to ARC read her latest book. A secluded island, more than 700 people that are supposed to have the time of there lives, but it all ends in a nightmare.

Ella and the Maze – Selmon Beha

The story has been released on the 25th of April 2025. The category it’s labeled in seems wrong. It would be more for kids between the ages of 11 and 14 years old. Beyond that age I wouldn’t recommend.

AOV Lessons in Love – Ever King

This book is set to be released on the 24th of June 2025. The first book ‘Academy of Villains’ is available on Amazon; I highly recommend picking up this book. Both have the Greek mythology down and the storytelling is very good.

Chasing Shadows – Robert Bryndza

This book is set to be released on the 5th of June 2025. You guys, Erika is back! This time we will finally know what happened to her husband 10 years ago and how that case, that’s still unsolved intertwines with this one.

The last Resort – Clémence Michallon

This book is set to be released on the 7th of August 2025. It’s set in a luxurious hotel and the grounds around it and is a true murder mystery novel. It wasn’t my favorite but it wasn’t the worst either.
