Hello and welcome, come and get to know me. My name is Cindy and I’m a stay-at-home mother of two. I’m 33 years old as of today (25th of May). In my spare time I like to hit the gym, not to get all big on muscle. I’ve been hitting the gym to lose weight. I’ve dropped 30 Kilo’s in a year’s time. Now I’m maintaining and staying in shape. That I like to read is a bit of an understatement since I read up to 4 books per week. I just love to get lost in the world an Author has envisioned. When it’s really well written I can actually imagine what things look like. Kind of like daydreaming through the chapters of a book. That’s how I’ve read Harry Potter and the hunger games. Graphic? Yes. Fantasy filled? Yes!
I really like to read psychological thrillers, crime thrillers, fantasy, sci-fi and a bit of romantasy. What I don’t like are books filled with spice. It’s like some authors don’t know how to write books without the amount of spice that is being put in. I just can’t. I do read books with spice, but if it’s to much it’ll lower the overall book score because I tend to skip those pages.
Some of my favorite authors are: Karin Slaughter, Tess Gerritsen, Lisa Gardner, Nisha Tuli, Carla Kovach, Robert Bryndza, M.J. Arlidge, Michael Wood, Suzanne Collins, Holly Jackson, Alice Feeney etc.

Meet my reading buddy. His name is Tummy, I know that in English it also means belly but that Isn’t why we named him that. In the Netherlands there is a Dutch sweet called a Tum-Tum it was my late grandfather’s favorite candy. Hence why we named him Tummy. He’s been my reading buddy for 12,5 years now, yes, you’ve read it right. Unfortunately for me, he’s getting old and hasn’t get a decade left in him. So I’ll cherish each and every moment I do get with him. While I read, Tummy will cuddle up at my side and sleep. It doesn’t get more lovely than that now does it?
