My last book on the January TBR that was picked by my TBR wheel. With enough days to spare I’m going to read two ARCs and hope to still get two other books done. We’ll see.
The last TBR book of this month was “You should have seen this coming” by Shani Michelle. It’s a crime mystery where three teens are trying to find out who kidnapped their friend.

Cassie has been dating Brody since 5th grade, but things are about to be very different. Cassie has been having vision of Brody falling in love with another girl, the new girl in school everyone seems to hate. If it was only one vision… But it isn’t, she had more than 80.
Hayden is the new girl in school but due to switching schools quite often she’s learnt to be the mean girl instead of the outcast. Someone to be feared. How? She blackmails the kids for money. How does she get the information hmm? She has visions to, but of the past not the future.
Once Hayden crossed the wrong girl and police are waiting Cassie tries to warn her, but with the warning said out loud a new chain of events has started. Cassie gets a vision of her being taken at knife point. Having seen this vision, she knows when to stay clear of a particular area and she has her friends that are doing their best in keeping her save. But one night she stays at school late, working on the musical décor that needed to be finished already, one of her friends ended up in jail and the other has to run for some recital, which leaves Cassie alone and the window of opportunity open. Her captor takes her that night.
Hayden isn’t friends with anybody and with someone having snitched on her she now has to work in the police department to fill her time. Auria (Cassie’s best friend) comes to the police station in a frantic state, her friend Cassie has gone missing; but her dad, the sheriff doesn’t believe her, that’s when she makes her own team and they have to figure out what happened.
In comes Hayden, with her visions and lack of fear for most kids she tries to outsmart everyone, someone has to know something. But when Brody, Auria and Hayden get to close; they get a threatening message to back off or else…
Will they find their friend Cassie in time? Will they find out who took her?
I’m giving this book a ⭐⭐⭐.5 star.
